The most I've seen Vimms do is include a vimms.txt file in the zip. Honestly if anything it just reminds you where you can go back for more lol.

I'm not sure what you mean by watermarks them? If you mean a watermark shows up in game that's entirely false, but I think there's notes of it coming from Vimm's lair in some way, it's just not intrusive to the gameplay side.
