I will admit upfront I do not know the answer. But let me ask, do you use Hakchi for your kernel and loading the games? If so in the retro arch segment they have other snes emulators...some of which work a little better than the native snes emulator that comes on your snes. Finding the best one there may be the answer. Sorry I dont know which one it is.
I have downloaded them several times, and all the Maddens except 94' freeze a few minutes into game play. This is on a SNES Classic, and not using any 3rd party emulators. These are the only games that have done this to me.
