An unlicensed game is when a company releases a game that is not given the green light or the ok by Nintendo and therefore do not receive any the coding or a chip thats needed to bypass the security protocals on the NES. Hence we got a company that is well known for this bypass called Tengen and another one that has been under the radar called Wisdom Tree.

I just downloaded a Master List of what i thought was ALL the NES games from nintendo.com..i am going through the list making sure i have them all (roms)...i am seeing several popualr games like Mike Tyson's PO and T&C Surf Design not on the master list..i was wondering what actually is a UNLISCENCED game..i see alot out there.Thanks guys.
