emulators that record sound files - know any?

Do you know of any emulators (on this site or otherwise) that allow you to record sounds (usually in the form of wav files). I believe it's also caleld 'dumping' wav files. It's just like recording a movie, except a sound. I love doing that in order to get game music, but sadly I haven't been able to find this feature on many emulators. I usually find a movie recorder in the emulators. Do you know of any emulators that fulfil my wishes? I am, of course, talking about emulators for the NES and SNES. Any help on this would be well appreciated, thanks.
