HELP Phantom 2040, a challenge for gamerz

I used to wonder "How can so many people have all this time to write such complete walkthroughs?" Now I'm like: "In all these years, has NO ONE written a decent walkthrough for PHANTOM 2040 (SNES)??" The game offers multiple options for story advancement and supposedly has like 12 different endings. I challenge anyone to find a decent walkthrough for this game on the net. There are two out there, but they are extremely vague and only cover about 20% of the game, if that. One is anonymous; one is by "bee-"somebody. I only use walkthroughs when I'm completely stumped and am tired of wandering around the game losing guys while looking for whatever it is I'm supposed to find. This makes it really irritating when a "walkthrough" says something like "Make your way to the hidden military factory" when it's your first time going there! Grrr. Anyone know of a good guide, walktrough, or FAQ? "What doesn't kill you doesn't make you stronger, it just doesn't kill you."
