SNES emulation hasn't been perfected yet, so you're bound to find a few games that won't run completely in either emulator.
My only remaining suggestion is to enable/disable Transparencies if your emulator allows them. I know I got one game displaying everything properly that way, but can't remember which emulator it was.

yeah, actually tried the zsnes... still got that problem.. and i even tried downloading it from other sites.. and still got the same problem. So, I'm just dealing with it. In story/animation mode i can press start and it'll refresh the screen and i can move on that way. but in vs tournament mode i only get one round and then it just fades to black and all i hear is the music...
