Re: Another Question for Tricob

Um yeah that just mostly went over my head. I think I get ther last part though. Basically if I put the actual NES folder on the desktop it might be short enough to work or something like that... I did type dir to see if the mount worked but it only showed the files in DOSBox nothing else. Then when I was farting with it yesterday before I posted the message it said that the mount had been done but I didn't know how to change it so it would be C;\ instead of Z:\ which appears to be its default...

If the filename or folder has spaces in it and/or is over eight characters in length, it'll be exactly eight characters long, have the first six characters intact (minus any spaces), then a "~" followed by number. For example, if your folder was named "Documents and Settings", it might be listed as this name when displayed in DOS Box:
C:\DOCUME~1
Note that it could be DOCUME~2, DOCUME~3, or what have you. You just have to enter the DIR command to see what they're called.
If you don't want to deal with tildes (~) and such, you can always place the NES emulator and games in any folder that has a name with no spaces, and is eight characters in length or less, such as C:\NINTENDO, C:\NES, C:\NES-EMU, C:\NESGAMES, or others.
