Japanese Saturn emulation problems?

Just curious, no site I've found has Marvel superheroes vs Street fighter or X-Men vs Street fighter, nor fire Pro Wrestling 6 man scramble, which were all Japanese Imports that required the action replay cartridge to run them. Would that cartridge hinder emulating those games?
