Yes, I am.
As as for 1), that's where the "pay" comes in. I'd be glad to compensate for my momentary hit to the server with a monitory donations. Besides, it wouldn't take very long since I'm on a fast connection.
This question gets asked a lot, it should be in the FAQ.
Anyway, Vimm has a policy against mass-downloading.
1) A lot of files, or one big file, is hard for the server to handle/distribute. Meanwhile, your download(s) take(s) away from other people's ability to download (the server can only transfer files so quickly).
