problems with PS2 games

I'm new to this site and was wondering if I was the only one having problems with games like Silent Hill 3 (intro video), Tony Hawk Underground (not getting passed the first loading), Driv3r not working at all, The Godfather (texture problems) I looked up best settings for that emulator and they didn't fix any of those games. My PC is over qualified to run that emulator so if I have to adjust my settings, what would I need to change or these iso's just fucked?
