Indeed, it was the emulator. I have downloaded another version of it, the games worked, even Platinum (without my save file, but I can still play with it in the older version of the emulator).
seems to be an issue with the emulator itself, since it happened with both games. unfortunately I don't know what could be causing this, but maybe someone on the forums for the emulator itself could help you
