Try different emulators (Does ZSNES work? How about any others?)
Try different ROMs from other sites. Usually the dumps are slightly different, so maybe it will work better.
Try using the game's actual save instead of saveslots (pretend it's a console).
I managed to play through this game on my computer, so it must work somehow.

For some reason I when I try to load soul blazer, after you pick a slot to save it in the screen just stays black, also with snes9x 1.43 it doesnt play the music at the begining but 1.42 does. Anybody know how I can fix this?
