I used to use a ps4 controller using DS4 but I bought a set of controllers from a company called 8bitdo and they're the best controllers I've ever used. They're designed to be PC controllers but do also work with a nintendo switch if you have one and are bluetooth enabled. They're a little pricey but I'd say completely worth the price. I'm considering buying more.

EDIT - Okay... it seems to work in the game, but now I get white flickering and the game just stopping.
Maybe my setup is not good enough. Ryzen 3 3100, Radeon RX570, 16GB RAM.
