No, I don't want the VLM format to be described. As far as I see, the JPG files that are shown when you watch the manual online, are the source files and both, VLM and PDF, are created based on them. And now I simply need to know the program that can do something (converting JPG files to PDF documents without a graphical user interface).
AFAIK, the manuals are run through a scanner to create these files. To be honest, I haven't seen a PDF-to-VLM convertor anywhere, and I really don't know how the VLM format works.
I think Vimm might have elaborated the VLM format a while back, but I probably passed by it without realizing what it described.
Vimm, I don't suppose I could ask you to describe the VLM format for us? :-)
