Well, I wouldn't say this is just something you can boil down to a "vs" fight. Each have their own benefits and we don't really know what the future holds for each CPU types.
Ryzen is a brand of AMD CPUs just in case you didn't know, but typically many people have found Ryzen CPUs to be better bang for your buck whilst gaming. If you could specify what kind of CPU you're looking for (High end, budget, mid-range, workstation) it might make things easier.
Also, I'm not sure if they're out yet, but the 11000 series Intel CPUs look to be pretty decent, though I'm not sure how they fare on things.
