download the rom from another site. you have a bad rom.

I'm not really sure how the ROM's work and what not, but this seems pretty weird.
Ok.. I have the Megaman X 1 ROM, and well, I was playing it on the ZNES system, and every so often, during the game, in a middle of a stage or something, it will just freeze, fade out, and start at the very beginning, with all your powerups, but no capsules, it gets really annoying, anyone, what I would like to find out is why?
So far I've determined in Chill Penguins stage, it does this when you shoot any kind of bullet at CP when hes sliding, I learned to avoid that though.
I've also found during Spark Mandrill's stage, I couldn't get past the glitch at all, I'de beat him contantly from a saved position, and it would also start at the beginning, please help?
