You can purchase original USB NES controllers from www.retrousb.com/usb.html

I bought the kit and made my own adapter, however, I notice you can now buy the adpater ready made. I suggest you do this so you can plug in any NES controller to it and it is cheaper. I bought it because I can use the ADVANTAGE joystick I own, but any 4 button USB controller does the same thing. I managed to get a lot of brand new NES controllers cheaply so the adapter will keep me going for a long time.

Does anyone use a nes controller for playing on the computer. I noticed you can make one, but it says it only works with a few emulators. I noticed it was hard playing on the keyboard and I thought maybe there is such a thing as a NES USB controller.

I am new here, just found the sight yesterday downloaded a few games to play a round with.
