Nope, no download managers, just straight through Firefox.
That's generally the time period I'm trying to download it at, sometimes very late.
I'm open to other suggestions as well, I'm confused as to why this particular file is giving me trouble when numerous others have not.

Try to download the game during American nighttime, when there is less usage of the Vault. Are you by any chance using a download manager? The site expects you to use the native download function of your browser, most likely to prevent queuing up downloads.
