your opinion would be wrong. downloading an illegal copy of a game (or anything else that is copyrighted or falls under drm laws), regardless of whether you have a legitimate copy or not, is still illegal. copyright literally means you do not have the right to copy the game, period. unless you are the actual the intellectual property owner of the copyrighted material. now i could get into the concept of abandoned properties but i will leave that for another day. will you go to jail? probably not. but like others have said, if you are worried then take measures to cover yourself like using a vpn.

In my opinion if you own the game its fine but Tomriddle88 is right. I remember when we talked to each other on this in the forums a year ago. Even if its illegal are you srsly going to jail for downloading pac man party for the Wii?
