Destroy All Humans Xbox not working correctly?

Hey,
I recently downloaded Destroy All Humans for the Xbox and somehow it just isn't working correctly. I booted up a save and started the first mission, and my entire character is gone. I cannot see it, nor can I see the ship or any person in the game. Is the game broken or is my install corrupted? Thanks.
