Unfortunately I don't know of any way to detect download speeds, and if I send out files faster than you can receive them the server can easily get overloaded and slow down everyone's speed. Try downloading during off hours, the speed cap is higher then.
All my DLs go at 5K/sec but I have DSL, so they should be faster. Any way to speed up DLs?
