i see. i'll look into that. got another problem tho. when i tried running jersey devil (i chose the track 01 bin to boot up as that's the one that's the biggest in file size) all i got was a black screen. what can i do about this?

A lot of PS1 games only use 1 track so they have only 1 BIN file. If you want to pack a multi BIN game into 1 file I would suggest converting it into a CHD file which should work with most emulators.
