snes game, can't remember the title.

when I was a littly there was this snes game I played for a while. I can't remember the name. I'll try to give you a brief discription:
You start out in this villiage were there are bubbles in the sky, then something happens and everyone in teh villiage turns into rocks (I think), you have to go to a bunch of towers and get to the top of each. Afterwards you jump down a big whole into earth since you were apprently underground. Then you have to revive the animals and things like that happen then you talk to the animals then you fall asleep for like four hundred years.
I can't remember much else, if i do I'll be sure to post it. So does anyone know the game I am looking for?
