I think for Zsnes/ZsnesW you go under Config -> Devices -> and select Mouse for Port 1. That should get it to work. Snes9X probably has a mouse setting, I just don't know what it is.
Sorry i dont have an answer. I have the same problem too and I want to know if you can use a joystick to work it?
