nkit.iso files were obtained from elsewhere
Does that mean they are useless?
What is the point of an archive format that requires other data to work?
Presumably if the files are are also here then +partitions will make them work OK?

Did you download nkit from here? If so, did you download "NKit 1.4" (the small one), or "NKit 1.4 + Wii Partitions" (the big one)?
If you didnt grab "+ partitions", nkit will not function properly as it does not contain the necessary files to restore the iso
