Vimm's is designed to prevent this kind of scraping. It will never be possible.

I am looking to integrate this vault into my RetroPie home system, right now I simply find a ROM and download it manually. However I am looking to privately fork Emulation Station and add a section to basically search this site and download roms automagically.

Is this within the terms of use? It would never be used to index or bulk download ROMs as it's for personal use onlu.
