Re: PSP works really well??

From my own experience - My old GTX 760 / i7 3770K can run even PS2 games at 4K. Emulators most definitely have been optimized super well over the years and it'll only keep getting better.
So I find this a bit surprising. I'm running my Recalbox on hardware that's probably at least 10 years old and definitely wasn't "high end" even in it's time.
Everything from NES through N64 runs pretty much perfectly. Saturn, DS and Dreamcast games run pretty well depending on the game. GameCube games run, surprisingly, fairly well. Definitely most of them are very playable except for some of the sports games and anything super fast paced. PS2 games don't run at all, no matter how much I tweak, which didn't surprise me since the PC is SO old and low powered.
Crazy thing is PSP games run PERFECTLY. I guess maybe the guy that developed the emulator did a really good job in optimizing? Maybe PSP is based off of souped up PSX architecture??
