... then I find the answer myself. 8-O
Turns out that when you set Gens to emulate exact timing (or something like that), everything works fine. :-P

Anyone know of an emulator that runs the game like it should? One emulator freezes on the Stage 1 screen, and the other freezes after the first few alien attacks. Thanks for any help you can give. :-)
