Think I'll just list a few I've heard good things about
Shin Megami Tensei/Persona - Personally played through Persona 4 and heard good thing about the series as a whole. Apparently SMT has different ending routes to do with chaos, law or neutrality which sounds cool.
Temtem - Seems to be a good pokemon style game that's been out there for a while. Can't personally speak to it, though.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon - Much like your typical JRPG but you play as a group of 30-50 year olds instead. Should check it out.
Mario & Luigi/Paper Mario series - I can attest to the Mario & Luigi series, I think they're some of the best JRPGs out there due to having gameplay in their fights. I've heard that Paper Mario follows that style too.
