Hi, by the average of 3 MB/Sec, reaching a 950 MB is done in about 5 or 6 minutes...
It means, that for whatever reason your downloading process is unstable and can't last several minutes... Maybe you're using the downloader of any web browser ? Maybe you have an app bundled with your pc supplier that manages the internet connection for you (you shouldn't...)... Maybe your house is full of individuals that suck it up...
Do you by any means, consider having a download manager that can keep up the downloading process for you... You should also consider mounting your rig by yourself and get rid of any bloatware/crapware that comes with pc builders, that kind of software doing more harm than good...
And as a final advice, it's better to reserve a pc only for gaming (all your resources should be given to games), and another one to do all the stuff (converting, merging, archiving, etc...)... That's what I('m doing for years now and I have no trouble...

I'm trying to download god of war ps2. The downloads are fast for me, about 3megabytes a second. But when they get to 950 megabytes they loose all speed and don't say that they failed or anything.
