If you ask me, I think it's because it doesn't concentrate on piracy as much as it concentrates on emulation.
Sure, you can't always split hairs, but if you look at the sections, there are no Switch games or PS4/PS5 games. It's just the good old ones.
I know, I know, Dolphin was a Wii emulator. I guess that case can be argued because they want to make money on Steam, so Nintendo reared its ugly head and banned them from that platform.
It's all a theory, but it does fit the available facts.

Vimm, how has this website gone 26 years without getting taken down by Sony, Microsoft, Sega or Nintendo? Is because the game files are zipped, or is it because this website has stayed under the radar? Or is just sheer luck?
