A few things have happened over the past month worth mentioning.
  • First up, operating costs for the site have been drastically reduced so more bandwidth has been purchased. There is now no speed cap for the NES section of the Vault and the number of download slots for the SNES section has been raised by 25%.
  • Next, many new systems have been added to The Manual Project and the layout has been shifted around a tiny bit to make room for them. If it keeps gaining in popularity more download slots may be taken from the SNES Vault to keep download waits short.
  • And finally, the new shopping cart for The Vault Store has gone live. It has been designed to mimic the old one with only a few modifications and there are a few things that still need tweaking, but it's fully functional and ready to work. It will likely evolve over time much like the site always has. All new orders will start with a "4" instead of a "3", and all previous orders have been assigned a new "4" order number. Order status can be checked using either number.
