Sounds like you got it. Be sure you put the extracted .iso file, and not the compressed .7z one. Some emulators can read or extract the image file themselves, but I don't think PS3 console can do that. If it isn't the proper format or if it's in the wrong folder (for example a properly extracted .iso file will still not work if it is in any folder apart from PS2ISO, and JB folder format won't work in that folder, it has it's own). Once it's written onto the drive you should be good.
