Because it's a collection of emulated games predating the Gamecube, along with some fancy menus and other goodies. Kirby 64's ROM is only 11 MB, and that's larger than the rest of the games combined. The rest of the space is mostly taken up by the three episodes of the Kirby anime that are included.
how the heck does kirby's dream collection only has 1GB?
