Formatting Guidance for an R4 Clone Card

I purchased one of those "468 Games in 1" DS Carts from eBay a few months back and I decided I wanted to format it and start all over with emulators and games I want to load onto it. I made the mistake of formatting the entire Micro SD and any R4 Setup software I try to install it displays none of the ROMS I transferred will load. I should've kept the original software on it but I'm hoping anyone here might have a workaround for something like this. Or maybe there's a more "universal" setup that can span multiple versions hopefully. But huge thanks in advance to everyone
