Feature request & bug report: bulk page loading
Posted by Gunoshozo on .
Honestly I don't want that bug removed until actual feature implementation.
Currently there is one way to do bulk loading but it looks more like a bug.
Here's how to do it:
1. Select file
2. Press upload
3. Select another file
4. Press upload
5. Repeat 3 and 4 for remaining pages
The progress bar will flicker between percentages of various files and load several files in parallel. And I think in that case the file order is not guaranteed.
And after some file upload the rest "queued" are stuck until another file upload.
Currently this is the faster but not super reliable way of uploading manual pages, but i would greately appreciate if Vimm would add an actual intended feature for bulk upload pages with guaranteed order (If that's even possible since IDK in what order system gives file list to a browser).
