Re: N64

As Tricob pointed out in another post, N64 emulation is far from perfect. However, Project64 is probably the best N64 emulator out there right now. You can find it Here At their website. To download click Binaries, and click Project64 v1.6 (1.7 beta isn't available). I think that file comes with the basic plugins which should be fine, but if you want to tinker with other plugins you can download some at . They also have other N64 emulators to download as well as Project64k, which adds online multiplaying to Project64 (I've never tried it though). I wouldn't expect Vimm to carry Nintendo 64 ROMs anytime soon since file sizes are quite large compared to NES, SNES, and Genesis ROMs (ex. Resident Evil 2 is 64MBs). Moreover, The ESA tends to be more pushy with games created after 1994 (the year the ESA was formed) especially for big names like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid, and 007. So when you take out Mario, Zelda, and 007 what are you even left with for the n64? Banjo Kazooie? Perfect Dark? Hardly seems worth it.
