Jailbreaks and exploits are not the same thing, even though jailbreaking usually involves exploiting vulnerabilities. Jailbreaking is the removal of vendor-imposed software limitations, usually limitations preventing the execution of unsigned code. Bypassing these limitations without removing them is not a jailbreak.
