Re: Windows Emulators error

Thanks for that, but I'm not running Vista I'm running XP.
I erased the registry value for S32evnt1.dll since the program that was for is no longer installed on my computer and now when I try to run the self-extracting .exe's a black command box pops up then quickly disappears not doing anything. This sounds like the same thing that happened to jnaddy in "Help!! NESemulator programs" post.
Perhaps the problem is that I don't have WinZip and my computer isn't recognizing that it is a self-extracting file? I use WinRAR.
Also, your new self-extracting files (ZsnesW, Snes9x, and GENS anyways) have made things worse on my end, now I can't just rename them to .zip and extract them, they act like they are corrupted now.
Sure enough, looks like they weren't compatible. I've updated all the Windows emulators with self-extracting files compatible with Vista. I also removed FCE Ultra since it's pretty clear it's not being updated anymore.
