Precisely. If it's the work of a troll (which it most likely is), the reason there aren't any updates is that the troll in question wants to sow unneeded discourse. Plus, why would Nintendo go out of their way to do this now when they could've done this many years before?
Has there been more updates or communicaion regarding the DMCA. Asking as the entire situation has many flaws and holes in it which leads to it not actually being Nintendo who issued it.
