Scan format for hardbound manuals

I've skimmed the board and found most of what I need (300DPI, PNG, page sizes are consistent). A few PS1 games have hardbound manuals (e.g. Arc the Lad Collection). I have a book scanner w/a 2mm edge and can probably get good scans of the individual pages, but no way can I get both pages wide open. Would that be acceptable to upload each page as a separate scan vs the 2 pages per scan of most other manuals? Thx.
