If the downloads were removed due to DMCA requests, there would be no download link. Any game you can download on Vimm is the complete ROM. There are no games that have been altered or broken for copyright reasons. The issues with Valve games on Xenia are known issues and they are due to troubles Xenia has with emulating the Source engine, not issues with the downloads on Vimm.

I just went through each and every game I downloaded. It dawns on me that the ones that just close down the emulator; Orange Box, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are probably all available on Steam. Thus, Valve wouldn't want them here. I'm surprised there isn't just a warning when you try to download the games to begin with.
