No there is a ps3 version. i never had an xbox only ps3. And the original ps4 and xbox versions dont have split screen. Only the ps3 version does.
There is no PS3 version of 7 Days to Die, alpha or otherwise. The original PS4 and Xbox One releases had split screen, so that's probably what you're thinking of.
