Jet Force Gemini for N64 "Fatal Error"

Hello hoping i can find a solution here, im trying to get JFG running on project 64. i have downloaded this ROM multiple times, used 7zip to extract said files, verified the file downloaded and that the storage match what the vault says yet i still recieve "Fatal Error" once getting past the logos and not even to the main menu. ive tried other roms as well such as Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64, they both seem to boot and run fine. Even Donkey Kong 64 Randomizer gives me no trouble, yet Jet Force refuses to work properly no matter what i do. Can anyone provide some help please into what else i can do or perhaps check to see if the file in the vault isnt corrupted? Thank you!
