Re: emulator file association changing?

ya so freaky weird. reinstalled each an looked in folders an the only difference is. the .exe files was missing. id just used pcsx2 and duckstation the other day an both ran fine. ran a virus scan an then did a hard drive test an both was fine. windows defender history doesnt show any action taken in history. not sure what could of happen. its like 1 moment i open start menu an the shortcuts was there an fine. 5 min later without touching anything, i open start menu again an bam there broken

so suddenly out of the blue pcsx2, ppsspp, simeple64, duckstation, i had shortcut to my start menu, turned into white files, an when i clicked said it was no longer there. when to the unchanged file locations, all the files an everything for them are still there in same folder. but the applications to start them are missing. 1 was thereish but when i clicked it, vanished. but the number of items in folder did not drop. i wanna say seems like windows is changing file typing on some of these???
