The 360 version on here is an ISO image of the physical disc release, and presumably it contains a lot of junk data as a result. The PS3 version is a JB Folder file, which only contains the game data itself.
If you want a smaller 360 download, you can get the digital version of the game on Myrient or the Internet Archive.

i noticed that terraria and minecraft are ~88mb on ps3 but exactly 6.87gb on xbox 360. does anyone more knowledgeable know the reason for this?
