na i dont have or use any cloud stuff downloaded or active (turned off the one that comes with windows 11) so besides my main m.2 drive i use for everything els. i have 3 hard drives for roms. D drive is emulators/PS4 games. all 21 emulators are stored in the same folder called "emulators". so 1 moment i had start menu open. 5 min later i opened it again an the quick access to .exe of duckstation, ppsspp, simple64 and pcsx2 was changed to white paper icon. i tried clicking them an said the files arnt there. i opened each and only those 4 .exe files was missing. all the other emulators .exe was fine an worked. sense there all stored in same place, i changed no folder names or moved any files. an all the others work. its really strange those 4 just poofed out of nowhere.
Are you storing them in a OneDrive or other such type of network drive that might be limited what files can be stored? Have you checked Windows Defender to see if it quarantined the files?
