Have you tried redownloading the file?
I go to start the first race, I choose "Move Me" as the BGM, and the game crashes, every time. I dont think this is an issue with the region, since this happened on both my PSP go and my steam deck via PPSSPP. On the PSP I just had to reset the whole console, but the emulator said the .ISO was corrupted and struggled to run after that point
