There is a fan translation for this game but I'm not sure what exactly needs to be translated in this game. You can get a patched ROM from this link Holy Diver (English translation?)
Also, It seems to run fine in Nestopia.
How awesome is that, a video game based on Dio's "Holy Diver", I love that song.
