Really? I think the SNES emulator was pretty good. It's pretty much just a direct port of Snes9x and it handled my games just like the PC emulator would.
NesterJ for the PSP does rock. I haven't had any problems with it and it handles cheats quite well.
Have you tried the Daedalus (N64) emulator? I've been meaning to test it, but the N64 doesn't really interest me.

The PSP is by far the best choice for NES. NesterJ for PSP is fully featured and full speed. I've only tried one SNES emulator for the PSP and it was slow so I deleted it.
